Confirmed: Former Watford Target Adebayo Completes Move To Lincoln City

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that EFL League Two club Lincoln City have completed the signing of highly-rated Nigerian youngster Jordan Adebayo Smith.

The 17-year-old was offered a two-year scholarship following a successful trial, where he featured for the first team and scored against Derby County U23s in a behind-closed-doors friendly last month.

Adebayo was on trial at Watford last season but didn't get a contract and was approached by Lincoln City through East Soccer Base Academy.

Although he is still learning the ropes as a scholar, everything is pointing to the fact that he will make his competitive debut for the Imps sooner rather than later as he often trains with their first team.

The precocious teenager has been described as lightning quick and very skillful with an eye for goal.

The prolific Nigerian attacker John Akinde joined Lincoln City in the off-season after four years at Barnet.
