Official : 32nd Player Leaves Chelsea On Loan
Published: August 23, 2018EFL Championship side Bristol City announced on Thursday that they have bolstered their defensive ranks with the signing of Czech Republic international Tomas Kalas.
The 25-year-old is joining the Robins on loan for the remainder of the 2018-2019 season.
Kalas scored the game-winner in Czech Republic's 1-0 victory over Nigeria in a pre-World Cup friendly held in Austria on June 6, his second international goal in 14 games.
The central defender or right fullback is the thirty-second player that has been loaned out by Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Olomouc native has had loan stints at Sigma Olomouc, Vitesse, FC Koln, Middlesbrough and Fulham since joining Chelsea in July 2010.
Kalas is the ninth player signed by Bristol City in the summer transfer window.
