Brazilian-Born Striker, Once On The Radar Of Nigeria U15s, Hits Double Figures In China
Published: August 27, 2018Nigerian-Brazilian striker Dominic Uzoukwu netted a brace for Beijing BG in their 3-3 draw against Wuhan Zall in the Chinese League One on Saturday afternoon.
In doing so, the 23-year-old took his tally for the season to 10 goals from 19 appearances in the Chinese League One.
Uzoukwu opened the scoring after three minutes at the Zhongnan University Stadium and Beijing BG were staring defeat in the face as they were 3-2 down with seven minutes remaining, but the São Paulo-born attacker scored a crucial equalizer to give his team a share of the spoils.
The former Atlético PR and Portuguesa man has been on the score-sheet against six different teams in the league following his move to Beijing BG in the January transfer window.
His first goal came on his competitive debut against Zhejiang Yiteng in March, while Shenzhen, Zhejiang Greentown, Nei Mongol Zhongyou FC, Dalian Transcendence and Wuhan Zall are the other clubs against whom he has scored.

The uncapped Uzoukwu, who once on the radar of Nigeria's U15 coaching staff, has pledged his
international future to Nigeria ahead of his country of birth, Brazil.
