The Nine Players Of Nigerian Descent Named In Tottenham, Man City & Liverpool UYL Squads
Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester City have submitted their squad lists for the group stage of the UEFA Youth League ahead of the opening round of the competition, with as many as nine players of Nigerian descent eligible for the English clubs.

Spurs U19 manager John McDermott can call upon goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi, defenders Jubril Okedina and Timothy Eyoma when his side face Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan.

Of the aforementioned players, only England U7 World Cup-winning fullback Eyoma has appearances to his name in the UEFA Youth League, 12 in total across two seasons.

Ibadan-born Netherlands youth-teamer Bobby Adekanye is among the players chosen by Liverpool.

The winger was directly involved in four goals in eight appearances for the Reds in last season's UEFA Youth League.
