PAOK Vs Chelsea Team News : Akpom Will Certainly Not Feature In Europa League Opener

Arsenal product Chuba Akpom will certainly not make his debut in the group stage of the Europa League when PAOK welcome Chelsea to the Stadio Toumbas Thessaloníki on Thursday evening.

The Nigerian striker has been omitted from PAOK's 18-man provisional roster announced at the end of training on Wednesday afternoon.

Romanian football tactician, Răzvan Lucescu, has not handed a full debut to Akpom since his arrival in Greece last month, with the striker making four appearances off the bench of which two were in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League against Benfica.

The Hale End Academy product was a non-playing substitute last weekend against OFI Crete in the Super League.

Former Nigeria star Victor Moses remains in contention to take to the pitch tomorrow as he was among the Chelsea players that trained at Lolas Sports Center at Souroti, Thessaloniki this evening.

Tomorrow's meeting between the Greek and English team begins at 1755 hours Nigerian time.
