Published: September 27, 2018
Nigeria international Isaac Success was pleased with his individual performance in Watford's loss on penalties to Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
The former Golden Eaglets sensation opened the scoring less than forty seconds after the restart and was handed the responsibility of taking Watford's first spot kick in the shootout which he converted.
Success led the line well playing as a lone striker and insisted after the game he was not fatigued despite going the distance for only the second time this season in all competitions.
''I wasn't scare of getting tired, this is my second ninety minutes of the season, I wasn't sacred of getting tired, I just felt like giving everything for the team, when I get tired I can be changed but I never stopped,'' Success told Watford's official website.
''I kept pushing till the end and I was happy to get the first goal for the team. We were unlucky today, I think we had a good performance and composure throughout the game.
''The team built the game towards me, to keep the ball always and to make sure the team comes up and support. I think that was exactly what I did and other activities inside the pitch I tried to help my team as possible as I can.

''I am just happy for myself that my fitness level is getting better day by day. Hopefully I get more to give to Watford and the fans.''
Next up for Success and his teammates is a trip to the Emirates Stadium, where they face Arsenal in the Premier League and the Nigerian is itching to play against the Gunners.
''Every day, every week in, week out . I want to be part of the team and see the team grow and be part of the success in future,'' he added.
Success has been involved in all the matches played by Watford this season, eight in all competitions, but has yet to start a Premier League game.
