Ex-Man City Starlet Nwakali Cleared To Make Debut For Raków, Midfielder Granted Work Permit
Published: September 28, 2018Former Manchester City starlet Chidiebere Nwakali has been cleared to make his competitive debut for Polish club Raków Częstochowa after he was recently granted a work permit.
The former Nigeria U20 midfielder ended his four-year association with the Citizens in the summer transfer window before making an under the radar transfer to the 1 Liga club.
Since Chidiebere Nwakali joined Raków, he has not featured in four straight matches and his representative, Allwell Nwakali, has explained that the paperwork was only sorted out this week.
''He is not injured, it is just because of his permit he has not made his debut for Raków Częstochowa, so I think next match he will play,'' Allwell Nwakali told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''He is through with the permit, it came out within the week, he will play any moment from now.''

Chidi had to spend time on loan at Málaga B, Girona, IK Start, Sogndal and Aberdeen during his time with City due to his failure to obtain a British work permit.
Raków Częstochowa top the I Liga standings after 11 rounds and face Bytovia Bytów in their next league game tomorrow.
