Official: Skillful Tottenham Hotspur Product Oduwa Joins Danish Club Vejle Boldklub
Published: September 28, 2018Vejle Boldklub have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur starlet Nathan Oduwa, informs the official website of the Danish Superliga side.
The former Nigeria U23 international has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Vejle Boldklub, which has brought an end to speculation surrounding his future following his release by Olimpija Ljubljana in July.
Oduwa trained with Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers in August with a view to a possible move and had been linked with clubs in Italy.
Commenting on his transfer to Vejle Boldklub, the skillful Oduwa stated : ''I'm pleased to have come to Vejle Boldklub and see great opportunities in my change to the club.
''The stadium and other facilities look good and there are all the conditions that I can further develop in this framework.
''My knowledge of Vejle as a city and club is limited, but many talented Danish players switch to major European leagues and I see the Vejle Boldklub and Super League as a good platform to advance if I'm doing well.''
The 22-year-old Oduwa spent time on loan at Luton Town, Colchester United, Peterborough United and Rangers during a ten-year stint with Tottenham Hotspur.
He will begin training with his new teammates at Vejle on Saturday, September 29.
