'Super Eagles Will Be Aggressive In Sfax Vs Libya' - Bordeaux Winger Samuel Kalu
Published: October 15, 2018
Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu is confident that the Super Eagles will pick up their third win on the spin when they trade tackles with Libya on match day four of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The former Gent star earned his second cap for Nigeria this past weekend and closed the scoring in the 90th minute with a brilliant curler from just outside the box to make it 4-0.
''We are definitely be going into that match with a mindset of get all three points. We will approach the match with the same aggressive way like we did in Uyo,'' Kalu said.
''It’s not going to be easy because the Libyans want to respond to their heavy loss but I am confident we will get the right result.''
On his fantastic goal against Libya in Uyo, Kalu said : "I am well pleased to have scored my first goal for the national team.
''As a young boy playing football on the streets, I always dreamt of scoring for Nigeria, and to have achieved this is wonderful, it’s a dream come true.''
The Super Eagles are expected to fly to Sfax on Monday morning and will work out at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri upon their arrival in Tunisia.
