Chelsea Trio Hazard, Willian, Pedro Block Moses From Playing Against Manchester United
Published: October 20, 2018
Former Nigeria international Victor Moses is no longer in contention to suit up for the third time in the Premier League this season when Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Blues manager Maurizio Sarri has made two changes to the side that thrashed Southampton 3-0 before the international break but there's no place in the 18 for Victor Moses.
The Italian gaffer has opted to deploy Eden Hazard and Willian on the left and right wing respectively to provide support for center forward Alvaro Morata, with Spaniard Pedro named on the substitutes bench.
These aforementioned wingers have prevented Moses from getting regular game time in the Premier League so far this season, with the Nigerian playing only 26 minutes off the bench in two matches.
The former Super Eagle was not in the Chelsea 18-man squad against Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Cardiff City and Southampton.
