The Hale End Academy product would make his sixth Premier League appearance of the 2018-19 season if he gets to feature against the Foxes.
Arsenal youth-team guru Jeorge Bird has reported that two other players of Nigeria descent in the shape of goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and left-back Tolaji Bola were involved in today's workout.
However, the two teenagers are unlikely to make their first team debut or be included in the 18-man squad against Leicester City.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi are available for selection to face the Gunners, who have won nine games on the spin in all competitions.
