'I Know Him, He Scored Yesterday' - NFF Boss Confirms Interest In Real Madrid's Akinlabi
The Nigeria Football Federation are confident of beating Korea Football Association and Royal Spanish Football Federation to the services of Real Madrid wonderkid Marvin Olawale Akinlabi Park.

Akinlabi is spoilt for choice over the national team to commit his international future to as he was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain to a Nigerian father and South Korean mother, meaning he is eligible to represent these three countries.

The Nigerian Federation's go-to guy for information on dual-eligible youth team players Seyi Akinwunmi, who is the Vice President of the NFF, already has the lowdown on the Real Madrid attacking midfielder and certainly knows his onions after revealing that the player was on target in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday.

''I know him Marvin Akinlabi, he scored a goal in the UEFA Youth League yesterday,'' Seyi Akinwunmi told allnigeriasoccer.com.

''We are speaking with everybody but it is not everybody that wants to play for Nigeria, it is not everybody that their parents want them to play for Nigeria.

''We are monitoring every single Nigerian kid out there, the ones that are good enough and who are willing to play for Nigeria, we are speaking to all of them, even those who are not willing.

''Definitely Akinlabi is in our plans.''

Akinlabi has been described by the official website of Real Madrid as a two-footed pacy and physical attacking-minded midfielder who is a danger when he joins the attack, and his ability in one-on-one situations also makes him a threat.
