Chelsea Loanee Aina Picks His Standout Moment So Far At Torino, Enjoying Wing-back Role
Published: October 28, 2018
In an interview with Chelsea's official website, Ola Aina was asked to pick his standout moment so far at Torino, where he's spending the entirety of the 2018-2019 season on loan.
Since the interview was conducted prior to Torino's Serie A clash with Fiorentina, the Nigeria international did not mention his Man of the Match performance against the Viola, where he hit the post in the first half.
''In my second game against Inter Milan I came off the bench early because of injury and held my own,'' said Ola Aina.
''It was a good game, we came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2. It was at the San Siro as well, a proper nice stadium.''
Aina has been deployed as a left and right wing-back by manager Walter Mazzarri and says he is enjoying the role.
''Yeah, on the left or the right. It’s been good. I have been getting into the box a lot more than I usually do which is really pleasing.
''I like the formation the team plays here and I’m really enjoying the position,'' he added.
Aged 22, Aina played his 61st match as a professional against Fiorentina on Saturday evening.
