Chelsea's Final Training Session Pre-Derby County : Victor Moses To Start, How Team A Lined Up
Published: October 31, 2018
If Chelsea's final training session on Tuesday is anything to go by, manager Maurizio Sarri has strongly hinted that Victor Moses will start from the very first minute when his side tackle Derby County in the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
Carefree Youth has informed allnigeriasoccer.com that the former Nigeria international was in the team containing the players likely to start during the final workout.
It is all but confirmed that Moses will be in the 18 to face the Rams as Eden Hazard is still nursing a back injury and Pedro (stomach ache) is listed as doubtful, leaving Sarri with the option of selecting the Nigerian, Willian and England U17 World Cup winning winger Callum Hudson-Odoi in the match day squad.
In a 4-3-3 formation, Argentina goalkeeper Caballero started in goal, Zappacosta, Cahill, Luiz and Alonso were the defenders, the midfield contained Drinkwater, Fabregas and Kovacic, Moses, Hudson-Odoi and Morata were picked in attack .
Moses helped Chelsea qualify for the fourth round of the League Cup, playing 90 minutes in their 2-1 win against Liverpool in September.
This season, the ex-Super Eagles star has featured in six matches from a possible fifteen in all competitions.
