Published: November 03, 2018Arsenal boss Unai Emery has praised Iwobi for his impact after coming off the bench in his team's entertaining 1-1 draw with Premier League leaders Liverpool on Saturday evening.
Liverpool went in front through James Milner but the Gunners equalized with eight minutes remaining with Iwobi involved in the buildup to the goal.
Lacazette curled a wonderful effort past the Liverpool goalkeeper after receiving a through-ball from the Nigeria international.
Iwobi played as a makeshift left back following the introduction of Danny Welbeck in the 81st minute.
''We need every player. Iwobi can impact high in the match. Today I think he is better on the left. His energy and quality is important,'' Emery told reporters post-match
''He can improve, he can be better. ''
Alex Iwobi, who has been at Arsenal since the age of six, made his 111st appearance in a Gunners shirt against Liverpool.
