Yakubu Tells Gor Mahia Stars To Market Themselves, Liverpool Scout To Watch Kenyans Take On Everton

Retired Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegebeni has urged the Gor Mahia players to market themselves when they take on his former club Everton in a high profile friendly match at Goodison Park on Tuesday.
According to Standard Media, Liverpool Chief scout Barry Hunter has confirmed that he will witness tomorrow's game and at least six agents will also be in attendance and their mission is to sign at least one of the outstanding Kenyan players.
''It’s a great opportunity for these guys to come all the way from Kenya and they will never get this kind of opportunity in life,'' said Yakubu to Capital FM.
''They should take it and make it count. It won’t be easy but it is a chance that so many people who played football all their lives never had even to leave their country.
''This is a great experience for these young boys to learn and they need to take it because they might never get it in their lives.

Yakubu was in the stands as a commentator when the Toffees beat Gor Mahia 2-1 in a pre-season friendly last year July in Tanzania.
