Nigerian Striker Contributes To Three Goals As Manchester United Thrash Swansea City 6-0
Nigerian striker Mipo Odubeko is already being mentioned as one of the players that will sign a scholarship with Manchester United in the coming months, having impressed for the youth teams of the Old Trafford outfit this season.

Manchester United U17s thrashed Swansea City 6-0 on Wednesday with Odubeko scoring a goal and providing two assists in the comprehensive win.

Only last weekend, the Republic of Ireland youth international scored all the goals as United beat Wolves 3-0.

Odubeko was having a sensational season for Manchester United last term before he suffered an injury that kept him on the sidelines for close to three months.

He is amongst three players of Nigerian descent destined for big things at United, the others being attack-minded pair Shola Shoretire and Ayodeji Sotona.

Odubeko was snapped up by the Red Devils from St Joseph’s Boys in Dublin, Ireland.
