Arsenal Coach On Iwobi & Kolasinac Playing Down Left Flank: It's A Very Interesting Combination

Arsenal coach Unai Emery was satisfied with the performance of Alex Iwobi and Sead Kolasinac in his side's 2-1 win at Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
In a new 3-4-3 formation, Iwobi and Bosnian played down the left flank with the Nigeria international more advanced and they were both involved in the winning goal scored by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Emery was quoted as saying by arsenal.com : ''We played like that in pre-season and in Qarabag, and it was an opportunity for us to find our best performance, best system and best combinations.
''For example today there was Sead Kolasinac and Alex Iwobi which is a very interesting combination.
''Also when we are pushing with Hector Bellerin wide we need some players for balance.
''The most important thing for us is finding balance in the defensive moments because we are conceding more goals than we want, but we don’t want to lose our good performances in attacking moments with scoring and the players performances.''
Iwobi operates mainly from the left side of attack for Arsenal but has been deployed as a playmaker in the Super Eagles last four international matches.
