Huddersfield Town Boss Lavishes Praise On Nigerian Midfielder
Published: November 26, 2018
Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner was pleased with Danish-born Nigerian midfielder Philip Billing following his outstanding performance in The Terriers 2-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday evening.
Billing was all over the pitch against Wolves, showed his tackling ability and made a goal line clearance as the home team pressed for an equaliser.
''Phil is a man now, mature. Exactly what he needed to
be,'' Wagner told Yorkshire Post.
''I have been with him three years and I am very happy he has now got this fighting spirit in his game that maybe was missing.
''He had everything, apart from maybe this fighting gene. But now he has got it.''

A Denmark U21 international, Billing has started all of Huddersfield Town's 13 matches in the Premier League this season, scoring one goal.
