Official: Manchester United Confirm Signing Of New Goalkeeper
Manchester United have more or less confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Paul Woolston for the 2018-2019 season.

The Red Devils have given a profile page to the former Newcastle United netminder on their official website.

Woolston had been in search of a new employer in England following his release by Newcastle United in the off-season and has been offered a contract by United after impressing at trials.

The 20-year-old enjoyed loan spells at Gateshead, Darlington, Blyth Spartans and South Shields while at Newcastle United.

He was a non-playing substitute for Manchester United U23s in Premier League 2 fixtures against Boro, Norwich City, Sunderland, Wolves and West Brom and was in goal in a friendly against Morton on November 15.

Paul Woolston was replaced at halftime in the 1-0 win vs Morton.
