Chelsea-Owned Nigerian Striker Scores Four Goals For Aston Villa In Ten-Goal Thriller
Published: November 28, 2018
A rampant Tammy Abraham scored four goals for Aston Villa as they shared the spoils with Nottingham Forest in a ten-goal thriller at Villa Park on Wednesday evening.
Aston Villa had the worst possible start with Grabban and Carvalho both on the scoresheet for the visitors inside the opening five minutes but Abraham headed home in the 11th minute to reduce the deficit.
On 14 minutes, Aston Villa were level thanks to the England U21 star who netted from a goalmouth scramble.
Matty Cash restored Forest's lead in the 22nd minute only for the Aston Villa number 18 to equalise yet again fourteen minutes later after converting a spot kick and completed his hat-trick in the process.
Five minutes after the restart, Joe Lolley's long-range strike made it 4-3 Nottingham Forest but the unstoppable Abraham headed home past the goalkeeper to bring his team level on 71 minutes.
Anwar El-Ghazi's 75th minute strike was cancelled out by Lewis Grabban with eight minutes remaining.
Abraham has been in fine form for Aston Villa since joining on loan from Chelsea in August and took his tally to 10 goals in 13 matches following his heroics vs Forest.
