A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, December 1.

Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.

We begin at the King Power Stadium where Leicester City entertained Watford. The Foxes ran out 2-0 winners thanks to first half efforts from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison.

Most of the talk leading up to the game was the confrontation involving three Nigeria internationals and they all figured, with the impressive Wilfred Ndidi and Isaac Success starting, while Kelechi Iheanacho played the last 18 minutes.

Ten minutes before the break, Success missed a glorious opportunity to half the deficit when he blazed over from inside the box.

Watford's Etienne Capoue was sent off for a reckless challenge on Iheanacho in the 90th minute.

At the John Smith's Stadium in West Yorkshire, Brighton & Hove recovered from an early setback to beat Philip Billing's Huddersfield 2-1.

The Denmark U21 star played the full game while The Seagulls number 14 Leon Balogun made a rare appearance off the bench when he replaced Bruno in the 78th minute and picked up a booking four minutes later for a foul on Hadergjonaj.

Mathias Jorgensen opened the scoring for the Terriers, Shane Duffy got the equalising goal in first half stoppage time before Florin Andone scored his first goal in the Premier League which separated the two sides at the end.

Over to the Etihad Stadium, both Nnamdi Oforborh and Jordon Ibe were not in the Bournemouth squad that lost 3-1 to league leaders Manchester City.

Callum Wilson cancelled out Bernardo Silva's goal just before half time, but Raheem Sterling made it 2-1 on 57 minutes before Ilkay Gundogan wrapped things up with 11 minutes left on the clock.
