Ex-Spurs U16 Captain Madueke In The Form Of His Life At PSV: Scores In Fourth Straight Match
Published: December 19, 2018
Tottenham Hotspur product Nonso Madueke is making progress following his permanent transfer to PSV Eindhoven in the summer transfer window.
The left-footed midfielder had been offered a scholarship by Tottenham but they failed to convince him to remain at North London before he joined the Dutch powerhouse on a three-year contract.
Madueke has built on his achievements with Tottenham Hotspur U16s by making his debut in the UEFA Youth League this season and also appearing for PSV in the U19 Eredivisie despite being classed as an U17 player.
The 16-year-old is literally in the form of his life, with four goals in his last four matches for PSV's youth teams.
He scored in three successive matches for PSV U17 team against FC Utrecht, Heerenveen and Sparta Rotterdam, and took his tally to four goals in as many matches by netting against Sparta U19s last weekend.
Madueke was called up to England U17 squad for their international matches last month.
