Kelechi Iheanacho is the joint-highest goal-scoring player in domestic competitions with the exception of the Premier League since he made his debut in England during the 2015-2016 season.
The Nigeria international has tallied 13 goals in the League Cup and Emirates FA Cup combined, which places him first along with Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku, according to Sky Sports.
The next player on the list is Tottenham Hotspur's South Korea star Heung-Min Son, who netted his 12th goal in domestic cup competitions in a 2-0 win against Arsenal on Wednesday night.
Iheanacho enjoyed a productive debut campaign during the 2015-16 season, scoring an impressive 6 goals from five appearances in total in the League Cup and Emirates FA Cup, and served up three assists.
The next season, the Taye Academy product managed to find the net only once against Huddersfield Town in five domestic cup competitions and scored 5 goals in seven games in his first season with Leicester City.
This term, Iheanacho was on target against Fleetwood Town in the League Cup.
