Ex-Super Eagles Star On The Brink Of Bringing Chelsea's World Cup Winner To Monaco
French Ligue 1 side Monaco are nailed on favourites to sign Chelsea's 2010 World Cup winner Cesc Fabregas in the January transfer window.

Authoritative French sports daily L'Equipe says the arrival of Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas in Monaco should be completed next week.

The Chelsea midfielder would reunite with his former teammate at Arsenal Thierry Henry as well as former Nigeria international Michael Emenalo who recommended his signing in 2014 while he was Technical Director at Chelsea.

Last summer, Emenalo convinced one of the most promising players in the ranks of Chelsea, Jonathan Panzo to leave the Stamford Bridge outfit for Monaco.

AC Milan were also in the race to sign Fabregas but the French team are likely to outbid their rivals as they have offered him a contract until 2021 with a signing bonus of €10 million.

The former Barcelona man has entered the final six months of his contract with Chelsea.
