Cardiff City Interested In Signing Chelsea Winger Who Has Scored 20 Career Premier League Goals
Published: January 06, 2019
Victor Moses's future with Chelsea remains unclear despite making the match day squad for their Emirates FA Cup third round tie with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, January 5.
The likes of Fulham, Crystal Palace, Wolves and West Ham were earlier credited with an interest in the former Nigeria international in the winter transfer market and another Premier League club have joined the race for his signature.
According to Walesonline, Cardiff City are keen on taking Moses as an alternative to Liverpool's Nathaniel Clyne on a temporary deal until the end of the season.
Clyne was heavily courted by the Bluebirds before joining Bournemouth on loan two days ago.
Victor Moses worked with manager Neil Warnock for three years at Palace and it was the Yorkshireman who gave him his professional debut against Cardiff City in November 2007.
Since Italian gaffer Maurizio Sarri was appointed coach of Chelsea, the versatile Nigerian winger hasn't enjoyed much playing time, and so far has two Premier League appearances, logging 26 minutes.
The 28-year-old has scored 20 career goals (18 assists) inĀ 220 Premier League matches.
