Report: Super Eagles Striker Simy Agrees To Join Belgian Club Sporting Lokeren
Nigeria international Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo has agreed terms with Belgian First Division A side Sporting Lokeren.

According to Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, the East Flemish club hope to announce the signing of the Crotone striker soon, subject to the player passing a medical examination.

Simy has a nice curriculum vitae, having represented Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup, where he made two substitute appearances against Croatia and Argentina.

The 26-year-old joined Crotone in July 2016 after six years playing for Portuguese clubs Portimonense and Gil Vicente, with most of his appearances coming in the Ledman Liga Pro.

This season, the lanky striker has 17 appearances in the Italian Serie B, scoring four goals for Crotone, who sit 18th in the 19-team second tier.

Future Hope Academy, Nkpor, G.U.O FC and Imo United were the local clubs he represented before he moved abroad.
