Official : Ex-Arsenal Nigerian Striker Who Has Scored Over 200 Goals In England Joins New Club
Published: January 10, 2019Isthmian League Premier Division side Enfield Town have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Okezie Ibe on undisclosed terms.
The 36-year-old began his career in England with the youth team of Arsenal in 1993 before leaving to join Bournemouth, where he spent three years.
Commenting on the signing, manager Andy Leese told Enfield Town's official website : ''Kezie has agreed to join us as we look to strengthen the squad.
''He is a very experienced player who we know well, and he's keen to come in and play for us while we are light on numbers.
''Kez is aware of the challenge and that his time with us may well be short term, but he is keen to prove himself at the club''.
Ibe has notched over 200 goals in over 700 appearances for the English teams he represented in the past.
Basingstoke Town, Canvey Island, Chelmsford City (twice), Ebbsfleet United, Farnborough, Hendon, Staines Town and Egham Town are among the clubs he previously featured for.
