Belgian Giants Anderlecht The Latest Club Linked With Move For Simeon Nwankwo

Anderlecht are the latest club in Belgium to be linked with a move for Crotone frontman Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo.

Tuttomercatoweb.com claims the Belgian First Division A powerhouse are in advanced discussions with their Italian counterparts over the signing of the Super Eagles striker.

Lokeren and Lecce have been credited with an interest in the lanky forward in the January transfer window but this website understands the player and his intermediary have had no contact with the two clubs.

Under contract with Crotone until June 30, 2019, Simy has refused to rule out a departure from the Serie B club this month, saying anything can happen in football.

The 26-year-old turned out for Portuguese clubs Gil Vicente FC and Portimonense SC before he was acquired by Crotone in July 2016.

This season, he has netted 4 goals in 17 matches in the Italian second-tier.
