Deal Or No Deal: Esperance To Make Decision On Nigeria U17 World Cup Winning Defender Today
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that African champions Esperance will make a decision over the signing of Nigeria U17 World Cup winning defender Lukman Zakari on Tuesday, January 15.

With the Tunisian winter transfer market set to close today, Esperance have few hours remaining to finish negotiations.

Zakari landed in the Tunisian capital on December 30, 2018 and started undergoing tests with the 28-time league champions four days later.

The coach and Vice President of Esperance are open to signing the center back but the board must give their approval.

In the event that the deal does not go through, Zakari has to return to his Latvian club FK Metta, whom he is contracted to until June 2021.

The former Golden Eaglets star is attracting interest from clubs based in Switzerland and Germany who have invited him for trials with a view to a potential deal.
