Official : Ex-Blackburn Rovers Striker Osawe Joins German Club KFC Uerdingen
Published: January 15, 2019German 3 Liga club KFC Uerdingen write on their official website that they have completed the signing of Nigerian-born striker Osayamen Osawe.
The former Blackburn Rovers youth-teamer is joining KFC Uerdingen from 2 Bundesliga outfit FC Ingolstadt and has inked a two-and-a-half year contract with his new employer.
''We are very pleased that we have succeeded in signing Osawe," says KFC CEO Nikolas Weinhart.
"He will once again decisively strengthen our team in this important position."
For the remainder of the 2018-2019 season, Osawe will play with the number thirty-five shirt.
Apart from Blackburn Rovers, the 25-year-old represented Accrington Stanley, Hyde and Southport in England, and has also turned out for German clubs Hallescher FC and FC Kaiserslautern.
German-Nigerian duo Robin Udegbe and Moses Lamidi previously played for KFC Uerdingen.
