Published: January 19, 2019
American-born Manchester United right-back Matthew Olosunde is being linked with a departure from Old Trafford.
News emanating from the American media revealed that an unnamed Major League Soccer club is reportedly readying a move to snap up the highly-rated defender from the Premier League side.
It is no secret that the 20-year-old began his career with Major League Soccer outfit, New York Red Bulls featuring for their youth teams before joining Manchester United in 2016.
He has since gone on to make over 30 appearances for the club's reserves in all youth tournaments.
In April 2017, Olosunde was nominated for the club's Goal of the Month Award for his solo effort against Real Salt Lake in the Dallas Cup.
Though the youngster only recently returned to action following a lengthy injury lay-off, he has yet to make his professional debut for the Red Devils but he has been included in the match day squads for Premier League games against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur back in 2017.
