Published: January 22, 2019Brighton & Hove knocked one of the favorites, Manchester United out of the FA Youth Cup after an impressive 3-1 win at Leigh Sports Village on Monday evening.
Nigerian right back Ayo Tanimowo put in an impressive shift against the Red Devils, playing as a fullback.
The young Seagulls did not concede until a minute from time when Bernard tapped home a rebound after Anthony Elanga's shot was palmed away by the goalkeeper.
Brighton established a two-goal lead inside the opening fifteen minutes thanks to goals from Gwargis and Longman before Roberts made it 3-0 nine minutes after the restart.
