Official : AZ Alkmaar Loan Out Ex-Dream Team Invitee To FC Twente

Through a statement on their official website, Dutch Eerste side FC Twente have confirmed the loan signing of former Nigeria U23 invitee Fred Friday from AZ.

Both clubs have reached an agreement that will keep the striker at Twente until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

''I am happy to be here. I know the club and the stadium, of course, and scored last season for Sparta,'' said Friday.

''It was a great atmosphere that afternoon and that impressed. In the coming months, I want to help the team and I hope to eventually promote with the team.

''I have already spoken to the trainer and other people at the club and I will do more impressions in the coming days. I am looking forward to playing here in the stadium. ''

Fred Friday's transfer to Twente will be finalized once a work permit has been issued.
