Official: Solomon-Otabor Joins Portsmouth On Fourth Loan Move From Birmingham City
Published: February 01, 2019League One side Portsmouth have strengthened their ranks with the deadline day signing of former Nigeria U23 invitee Viv-Solomon-Otabor from Birmingham City, informs Pompey on their official website.
The exciting winger will spend the remainder of the 2018-2019 campaign on loan at the promotion candidates.
With previous loan stints at Oxford City, Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool, this is the fourth time in his Birmingham City career that he has been farmed out on loan due to a lack of first-team opportunities.
Speaking on the deal, Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett said : ''He’s an exciting young player who can be used on either side and impressed at this level with Blackpool last season.
''But he’s been a bit frustrated at Birmingham and that’s because of the standard of wingers they have at the club.
