Arsenal Teammates: Iwobi Aims Dig At Lichtsteiner, Elneny, Mustafi; Hails Cech, Maitland-Niles
Published: February 19, 2019Responding to questions from Kenzie Benali in a special edition of Arsenal Teammates, Alex Iwobi has praised the defensive ability of Mohamed Elneny and hailed the survival instincts of goalkeeper Petr Cech.
The Nigeria international was quizzed alongside England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Egypt star Elneny.
Asked If he had to choose one teammate to survive on a desert island, Iwobi picked Cech, and aimed a dig at Stephan Lichtsteiner after revealing that the Swiss defender should never be allowed to choose the music in the dressing room.
Of the three players put on the hot seat, the Nigerian picked Elneny as the player who should never get on the microphone at karaoke while Maitland-Niles has the best style, that is to say he's the best dressed.
However, the Gunners number 17 has named the Egyptian as the player to trust with a last ditch tackle.
If Iwobi had his way, he would avoid sitting next to Shkodran Mustafi on the team bus as the German is too loud and will disturb his sleep.
