Chelsea Loanee Victor Moses Struggles In Istanbul Derby, Subbed Out At Half-Time
Victor Moses did not live up to expectations in his first Istanbul derby and had to be replaced at half-time by Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal.

The Chelsea loanee has broken into the starting line-up of the Yellow Canaries, having started their last four games across all competitions, including today's six-goal thriller against Besiktas.

The home team were leading 3-0 at Vodafone Stadyumu thanks to Gokhan Gonul's 10th minute opener and Burak Yilmaz's brace, and to remedy the situation Moses made way for Andre Ayew before the second half started.

A big win for Besiktas had been on the horizon but the visitors had other ideas after mounting a spectacular comeback to draw 3-3, with Miha Zajc, Sadik Ciftpinar and Hasan Ali Kaldirim the scorers in a period of 12 minutes.

Since transferring to Fenerbahce, Moses has played nine games in all competitions and found the net once against Göztepe.

Although Fenerbahce have climbed to fourteenth place in the Super Lig following the draw against their city rivals, there's only one point separating them from Bursaspor who occupy the last relegation spot.
