EPL Wrap: Iwobi Subbed In; Solanke & Success Not Involved; No Debut For Uwakwe; Ibe Starts

We round-up the Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Wednesday February 27th.
Arsenal thrashed Bournemouth 5-1 at the Emirates Stadium to maintain their push for Champions League qualification.
Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Laurent Koscielny, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette were the goalscorers for the Gunners while Lys Mousset struck a consolation for the visitors.
Alex Iwobi, who passed a fitness test, started on bench and was introduced for Sead Kolasinac after 57 minutes while Bournemouth's Jordon Ibe started the clash and lasted till the 56th minute mark.
Cherries striker, Dominic Solanke was not involved here.
Over to Stamford Bridge and it was Chelsea who came out on top in the London Derby versus Tottenham, beating the Lilywhites 2-0.
A second half goal from Pedro and and an own goal from Kieran Trippier was enough to secure the victory for Maurizio Sarri's team.
Versatile Nigerian midfielder, Tariq Uwakwe who earlier trained with the Blues first team was however not included in the 18.
And at Anfield stadium which hosted Watford and Liverpool, the Hornets were at the wrong end of a 5-0 trouncing.
Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk got braces for themselves while Divock Origi also got on the scoresheet in the big win.
Isaac Success was yet again left out of the visiting team for the fifth consecutive time.
