Valerenga's Ejike Catching The Eye; Lillestrom's Ebiye, Stabaek's Omoijuanfo On Target
Published: March 08, 2019
Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the Nigerian players that were on target in pre-season matches on Friday, March 8.
Ex-Liverpool trialist, Chidera Ejike scored again for Vålerenga as they recorded a 2-0 win over Tromso at the Intility Arena.
In a 4-2-3-1 formation, Ejike started on the left side of attacking midfield and provided the assist for his team's opening goal before firing from just over 18 meters to double the advantage on the hour mark.
Elsewhere, former Manchester City trialist Ohi Anthony Omoijuanfo helped Stabaek claim a 2-1 win over Odds Ballklubb by grabbing the game-winner in the 62nd minute.
Omoijuanfo is attracting interest from Molde ahead of the close of the winter transfer market in Norway.
Last but not least, Moses Ebiye's early goal in the 9th minute could not prevent Lillestrom from losing 3-1 to Kristiansund BK.
The 21-year-old winger will be hoping to break into the first team of LSK in the new season after spending the second half of the 2018 campaign on loan at Strømmen IF.
