Former Everton Star Yobo Tips Van Dijk To Become World's Best Defender

Former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo has sensationally tipped Liverpool central defender Virgil Van Dijk to someday become the best defender in the world after leading the Reds into the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League at the expense of favourites Bayern Munich.
Jurgen Klopp's side defeated Bayern 3-1 Wednesday night to reach the last eight on 3-1 aggregate after the first leg ended in a scoreless draw.
Yobo who played for Everton in the English Premier League working as studio analyst for Supersport explained how the Dutch international who scored the Reds' second goal of the night can attain that milestone.
"I agree that Van Dijk can be the best defender in the world. As a fellow central defender I agree by that assertion.
"He was massive for Liverpool. He needs to win titles at the club and if he does that, I totally agree that he could achieve that," Yobo stressed.
Liverpool's win over the German champions mean all the English clubs in the competition including the trio of Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will be in the pots for Friday's quarterfinals and semifinals draw.
