As many as ten players eligible to represent Nigerian teams were called up for international duties on Thursday.
England U-21 manager Aidy Boothroyd made known his list for this month's games with four players with Nigerian blood running in their veins included in the 26-man list.
With Poland and Germany expected to come to town, the young Three Lions are expected to use those games to fine-tune ahead of this summer's U-21 Euro finals.
Chelsea duo Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori currently on loan at Aston Villa and Derby County respectively got the nod of the manager thanks to their blistering forms this season.
Former Blues and Liverpool striker, Dominic Solanke now with Bournemouth also made the cut while Everton starlet, Ademola Lookman was also included.
All of the four aforementioned players had previously earned caps at U-21 level with the team and were part of team which clinched their qualification for the upcoming championships but Tottenham and Liverpool loanees Josh Onomah and Sheyi Ojo has been left out.
In the U-20 ranks, coach Paul Simpson included former Super Eagles invitee, Eberechi Eze in the team which face Poland and Portugal respectively in the European Elite league games while Manchester City loanee, Lukas Nmecha was snubbed this time.
In the U-19 category, there were at least three players of Nigerian descent called up by handler Keith Downing in the 21-man team aiming to seal their place at this summer's U19 Euro finals.
Arsenal wonderkid Bukayo Saka, Tottenham's Timothy Eyoma and Manchester City's Felix Nmecha were all among the squad who play Czech Republic, Greece and Denmark this month.
Arsenal duo Folarin Balogun and Xavier Amaechi made the cut in the U-18 section when they take to the field in the UAE Sport Chain tournament.
