Is In-form Nigeria Defender Ola Aina Needed By Sarri At Chelsea?
Published: March 15, 2019Ola Aina is one of Chelsea's Academy products presently catching the eye, the others being Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham who are on loan at Derby County and Aston Villa respectively.
Aina trained with Chelsea's first team during pre-season, only to be sent on loan to Torino before the close of the summer transfer window.
At first, Maurizio Sarri's decision to let go of the young right-back wasn't questioned by the Blues faithfuls.
Having seen how inconsistent Marcos Alonso has been all through this term, Chelsea supporters couldn't help but call on the Italian to recall Aina from his loan deal.
Despite Chelsea's fragile defense and Alonso's uninspiring form at the back of the pitch, the 60-year-old tactician ignored the fans' desire to have Aina return to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.
Sarri's decision to ignore Aina's fine form with Torino is a proof that the Nigerian isn't rated by the former Napoli boss.
It's also a proof that he has no future at Stamford Bridge as long as Sarri remains in charge.
Aina isn't short of suitors, Torino are reportedly set to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer.

A permanent switch to Torino would be a very good move for the 22-year-old as he's almost certain to be guaranteed playing time next season.
