Hat-Trick Hero Osimhen Post-Match Reaction: Every Word On Best National Team Display, Imama, Charleroi
Published: March 25, 2019Man of the match, Victor Osimhen explained that his performance on Monday evening was his best ever so far, in the colours of the national team even as he added that the pep talk provided by coach Imama Amapakabo at half-time galvanized his and the team's second half performance against the Libyans.
Here's everything the hat-trick hero against Libya U23s said immediately after the game at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
Fantastic performance from you, is this the best performance you have ever had in your career?
''For me, in the national team, I will say yes. I think I still have enough in store for the national teams and I'm going to continue to build on this momentum and do well for the national teams.''
What did the coach say to you at half-time?
''Not just me, he psyched us up. He said it's one goal at a time and I think we were able to take out the instructions and this is the most important thing, to be disciplined with the instructions the coach gave us. It was the key to our winning also.''
You have continued your professional football education in Belgium, what has that done for you as a footballer?
''It really helped me a lot. I had a difficult time in Wolfsburg and I think Charleroi have really helped me a lot and I am grateful to them also.''
Finally your message to Nigerians?
''They should keep on praying for us and I think there's more in store''.
