Official : Danish Champions FC Midtjylland Loan Out Nigerian Striker
Published: March 29, 2019Norwegian First Division club FK Jerv have officially announced the signing of Oslo-born Nigerian striker Chuma Anene.
Midtjylland recalled the 25-year-old from a loan spell at Fredericia which was due to expire in June 2019 before loaning him out to FK Jerv.
Anene began his career with the youth team of Holmlia before he was snapped up by capital outfit Valerenga in 2009.
His other clubs in Norway include Ullensaker/Kisa and Stabæk, and he has also had spells with Rabotnički Skopje (Macedonia), Amkar Perm (Russia) and Kairat (Kazakhstan).
A striker who can also play on the left and right wing, Anene has represented Norway at U16, U17, U19, U20 and U21 levels and is willing to play for the Super Eagles if approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.
Anene appeared in 11 matches across all competitions for Fredericia.
