Three attack-minded Nigerian players in the shape of Bright Osayi-Samuel, Ebere Eze and Aramide Oteh have been nominated for Queens Park Rangers Young Player of the Year award for the 2018-2019 season.
Osayi-Samuel is a winger, Eze is an attacking midfielder while Oteh is a center forward.
Joining the trio on the shortlist are Ilias Chair, Osman Kakay and Paul Smyth. To be eligible for nomination, the players must be aged 21 or under at the start of this campaign.
Former Super Eagles invitee Eze is also in the running for the Goal of the Season award for his brilliant strike against Aston Villa on January 1, 2019.
Eze, Osayi-Samuel and a third player of Nigerian descent Olamide Shodipo are among the first-team players shortlisted for the Sportito Player of the Year award.
While Eze has played 44 matches across all competitions this term with four goals to his name, Osayi-Samuel has netted 3 goals in 32 games and Oteh played five matches before he was loaned out to League One side Walsall in the January transfer window.
Queens Park Rangers, who are safe from relegation with 48 points accumulated, host Nottingham Forest in their penultimate game of the season.
