La Liga have acknowledged that Kenneth Omeruo has been outstanding since his loan move to CD Leganes in the summer transfer window and have taken to social media to celebrate the player.

Thanks to their stunning win over Sevilla last Friday, Los Pepineros guaranteed their top flight status for next season with two games to spare, and their Nigerian central defender helped the club achieve its main target this term.

The Chelsea loanee has racked up 47 tackles, 158 clearances and 10 blocks, and has a passing accuracy of 80 percent.

If you dig deeper, Omeruo has averaged 1.8 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 6 clearances and 0.4 blocks per game.

Should he play this weekend vs Espanyol, it will be his 27th appearance in the Spanish top flight.
