Leicester City Interested In Signing Nigeria-Eligible Winger
The players of Nigerian descent at Leicester City could increase next season, with reports linking Jordon Ibe with a switch to the King Power Stadium in the summer transfer window.

According to the online edition of The Sun UK, Brendan Rodgers is eyeing a reunion with Bournemouth winger Ibe.

Rodgers, who was appointed manager of the Foxes in February 2019, previously coached Ibe and gave the former England youth-teamer his Premier League debut against Queens Park Rangers in May 2013.

Ibe has a contract with Bournemouth until the end of the 2019-2020 campaign and a number of clubs are ready to swoop on the winger if he does not extend his stay.

The 23-year-old has played 87 games for the Cherries across all competitions since his arrival at the club in July 2016, scoring four goals.

Nigeria internationals Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi play for Leicester City's first team while the 20-year-old Layton Ndukwu is knocking on the first team door.
