Newcastle United, Wolves, Crystal Palace Interested In 'New Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang'
Published: May 17, 2019Three Premier League clubs are interested in signing Nigeria U23 international, David Okereke, who has been likened to Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to the online edition of The Sun UK, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers have made Okereke a summer transfer target.
Allnigeriasoccer.com has contacted the winger's camp and it can be revealed that Palace sent one of their scouts to watch him in action in the Serie B last month.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in the Italian second tier after scoring 10 goals in 30 appearances for Spezia and registering 12 assists.
The Aquilotti are in contention to be promoted to the Serie A via the playoffs, but Okereke could move on to pastures new if they miss out on promotion.
As well as the interest from Premier League clubs, Okereke is also on the radar of Inter Milan, Lazio, Udinese, Parma and Fiorentina and he is valued in the region of eight million pounds by Spezia.
He has a contract with Spezia until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
