Official : Tom Adeyemi Released By Ipswich Town
Published: May 20, 2019Nigerian midfielder Tom Adeyemi is on the lookout for a new club following his release by demoted Championship side Ipswich Town.
The Blues have opted not to activate 12 month extension options on Adeyemi and four other players who are out of contract.
Aged 27, Adeyemi joined the Blues in the summer of 2017 from Cardiff City and departs the club with only five appearances to his name across two seasons.
He didn't play for Ipswich Town since October 22, 2017 due to an Achilles injury which ultimately required surgery.
Adeyemi began his career at the youth team of Norwich City, followed by permanent moves to Birmingham City, Cardiff City and Ipswich Town.
He spent time on loan at Bradford City, Oldham Athletic, Brentford, Leeds United and Rotherham United.
