Ex-Manchester United Midfielder Must Improve To Become A Celebrated Star In Dream Team VII
Published: May 28, 2019
Former Manchester United midfielder, Tosin Kehinde pledged his international future to Nigeria in 2018 after meeting with Gernot Rohr in London.
His decision to commit his future to Nigeria was a great one because the West African side presents him better opportunities to have a successful international career than England.
In fact, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder was invited to the Dream VII camp by coach Imama Amapakabo for the AFCON U23 qualifiers against Libya in March, but he didn't feature against the North African side over both legs.
His inability to make his debut for the team should serve as an eye-opener to the youngster, and he must improve his game as soon as possible.
Being a Manchester United product doesn't guarantee a regular spot in any team, hence, Kehinde must add goals to his game next season if he wants to get constant invitation to the U23 camp in subsequent months.
Meanwhile, Amapakabo's men are scheduled to battle Sudan in the final round of the AFCON U23 qualifying campaign.
It remains unknown if Kehinde has done enough to merit a spot in Amapakabo's upcoming list.
